Weddings for Two
If you would like a romantic, relaxing wedding day that is guest free we have a special two night break especially for you
- Unlimited help and advice from our wedding co-ordinator to plan your wedding and help you on the day.
- No other guests will be staying at the Lodge giving you private use of the guest's facilities.
- Arrival at the Lodge from 4pm the day before the wedding.
- Wedding ceremony rehearsal.
- Overnight accommodation in the bridal room with king size four poster bed, ensuite bathroom with roll top bath and balcony overlooking the gardens. Champagne , flowers and chocolates awaiting your arrival.
- Wedding day breakfast in the red dining room.
- Two witnesses provided for either the civil or church ceremony.
- For civil weddings you have a choice of indoor rooms and outside locations at Bracken Bank for your ceremony.
- A champagne afternoon tea for two in the drawing room or garden.
- A second night's accommodation.
- Breakfast the following day.
For weekends this costs a total of just £750 + vat
For weekdays this costs a total of just £600 + vat
The ceremony is booked and paid for separately with either the registrar or vicar.
A single tier wedding cake with handcrafted sugar flowers may be ordered for £120 + vat, a two tier wedding cake £225 + vat, or you may prefer to bring your own.

- A professional photographer.
- A horse drawn carriage or vintage Rolls Royce for a romantic ride for a couple of hours after the ceremony.
- A massage in your room from a professional, either the day before or on the morning of your wedding.
- A professional hairdresser/ make up artist to prepare the bride in the bridal room before the ceremony.
- A harpist or string quartet to play for the ceremony and during the photographs after.
