Useful wedding information
You will need to book either a Church or Civil Ceremony:
Please telephone the Penrith Registrars on 01768 242120 to book your Civil Ceremony; they are very friendly and helpful and the process is straightforward. The Penrith office is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.30am. You will then need to visit your local Registry Office to deal with the paperwork. You will be sent a copy of the service in advance. The bride and groom seperately meet and talk with the Registrars on the day of the wedding. They will take bookings up to two years in advance.
