Q. How do I book the local swimming pool and how much does it cost?

A. To book the pool telephone 016974 72229. You can check the current prices when you telephone, it will probably be around £12 to £14 per hour for private hire depending on the time and day of the week you require.

Q. Is Bracken Bank Lodge a hotel?

A. No, Bracken Bank Lodge is a shooting lodge, it is not a hotel and there are no hotel facilities.

Q. Can you still accommodate 32 overnight guests?

A. Sorry, but over the years we have had some bad experiences with large groups and have now limited the number of rooms we use for guests.

Q. Where are the nearest boarding kennels?

A. We have boarding kennels on the estate for the kenneling of dogs, please book in advance.

Q. Do you cater for vegetarians?

A. Yes, vegetarians and vegans are most welcome. For some reason we have a much higher rate of vegetarians staying for B&B than other accommodation providers in the area and we have had whole wedding groups having vegetarian meals. Many of our regular B&B guests are vegetarians.

Q. Which is your favourite pub for an evening meal?

A. We are lucky to have lots of really good country pubs serving great food. The Fox & Pheasant (Tel: 01697 472400) and The Highland Drove ( Tel: 01768 898 349) have continued to delight guests for many years.
